Kick-off meeting European project InDIRECT by Biobased Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI-JU)

On December 5th, 2016, the kick off meeting of InDIRECT was held in Antwerp (Belgium). All 9 European partners from 4 European countries as well as the Project Manager of BBI-JU participated to a successful meeting on the 3-year InDIRECT project, funded by BBI-JU under Horizon 2020.
The project started on the 1st of November 2016. Overall aim of InDIRECT is the development of biorefinery processes for the direct or indirect conversion of diverse organic side streams into marketable like proteins, chitin and lipids.
